Creative Minds Publishing ("we," "us," or "our") operates The Man Within mobile application (the "App"). This page explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and your choices around it.
Summary
The Man Within is built to keep your personal content on your own device. We do not collect, see, or store your journal entries, your daily progress, or any personal reflections you write in the App. There are no user accounts, no advertising, and no location or contact tracking.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or have access to:
- Your journal entries or written responses
- Your daily streak or completion history
- Your name, email, or any account information (the App does not require account creation)
- Your location
- Your contacts or other device data unrelated to the App's core function
- Advertising identifiers — the App does not display ads
Information Stored On Your Device
The App stores the following locally, on your device only, using standard Android local storage (DataStore and Room database):
- Which daily entries you've completed, to track your streak
- Your written journal responses
- Your current progress through the program
This information never leaves your device unless you manually back it up or transfer it yourself. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes this data, as it exists nowhere else.
Subscription and Payment Information
If you purchase a premium subscription, that transaction is processed by Google Play Billing, not by us. We do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) — that information is handled entirely by Google, subject to Google Play's Privacy Policy.
To verify your subscription status and manage entitlements, the App uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat receives a device/subscriber identifier and your purchase/subscription status (e.g., active, expired, cancelled) in order to confirm what content you've paid for. RevenueCat does not receive your journal entries, personal content, or any information beyond what's needed to manage your subscription. Children's Privacy
The Man Within is intended for adult audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and provided information through it, contact us using the information below and we will address it — though as noted above, we do not have access to on-device content like journal entries regardless.
Data Security
Because your personal content (journal entries, progress) is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, its security depends primarily on your own device's security (passcode, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device's operating system and security settings up to date.
Your Choices
- Deleting your data: Uninstalling the App deletes all locally stored content, as no copy exists elsewhere.
- Managing your subscription: Subscriptions are managed through your Google Play account (Play Store app → Payments & subscriptions).
Future Changes to Data Practices
If we add features in the future that involve data leaving your device — for example, optional cloud backup or sync — this policy will be updated before that feature is available, and we will describe clearly what's collected and why at that time.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
